madelyn & lawson

The most beautiful day in September of 2022, Madelyn and Lawson tied the knot at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. It was the dreamiest location and just the best day. Madelyn came across my instagram page earlier that year, and receiving an inquiry from her made my day! I met with her and Lawson a couple months prior to the wedding at Kingdom Coffee in Springfield, MO. I quickly knew they were going to be such special clients! They are the kindest people I have worked with. I heard all about their pups and how they were going to be at the wedding, and they told me stories about their friends and family in the bridal party. They asked what my favorite snacks and drinks were so they could have them for me the day of the wedding. I love having clients that go above and beyond to take care of me.

Madelyn was such an elegant bride. Her dress and flowers matched perfectly with the scenery and it was breathtaking. Her hair was pulled back in a fishtail braid with clips that matched her dress. The day began with detail shots and then we made our way to the waterfall for her and Lawson to exchange vows. It was such a special moment and a great start to the day. We continued with bridal party shots and more details, which consisted of the gorgeous ceremony setup. The ceremony and reception both overlooked stunning waterfalls. Both of their families were so sweet and a joy to capture. From family photos to getting down on the dance floor, everyone was so joyful and fun to be around! I’m honored I was a part of this beautiful wedding. I’ll never forget Madelyn and Lawson, and their kindness that made my job unreal. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special for them. Here’s to a life of happiness to the Kingsleys!
